Emily Munday Photography is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors. In this policy, Emily Munday Photography is acting as a data controller, where we determine the ways and means of processing personal data received through the website. 

What information do we collect?

We collect personally identifiable information which include, Your Name, Email, Telephone Number and any further information you wish to disclose in the comment box, including but not limited to Children’s Names, DOB or Age, Gender.

In addition we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools, example, Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

We collect signatures and consent for Model Release and Contract information, these are used to comply with current laws regarding consent for minors and use of their images in both digital and printed format.

How do we collect information?

Information you voluntarily provide us: When you complete your details in one of our contact forms, consult with Emily via Skype or telephone, send an email, post on our blog or message us on platforms of social media, we collect personal information. This information will be used specifically for answering your enquiry and processing your booking. When signing up to our newsletter your information will be collected.

Information we collect automatically: When you browse through our website, we may collect information about your visit, how long you used our website and services and your web browsing information. This information may be collected in the form of cookies.

Why do we collect this information?

We collect your name and contact information to address any bookings for the past, present and future and assist with any future assistance or technical support. Your name is so we can address you on a more personal way during contact through email, telephone and when you are present at the studio. Your contact information allows us to contact you regarding your booking and if you opt in for email marketing. Your child’s details when collected are required to allow us to provide and operate services involving that child and determining which session may be suitable.

How do we store your data?

Currently all contact information, signed documents and any emails sent to our email address is stored on a password protected computer accessed exclusively by Emily Munday. All your data is stored correctly and within compliance of the GDPR.

Galleries are delivered to clients via ShootProof which requires a username and password to log in. Shoot proof stores a copy of clients email addresses which are used exclusively to log in to their services to access a gallery. All passwords are encrypted. All your data is stored correctly and within compliance of the GDPR.

Emily Munday Photography’s website is maintained via WordPress and is hosted on a server held by Brian Cryer. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

Any images taken by Emily Munday Photography are stored on an encrypted password protected hard drive that does not leave the premises of the studio, therefore reducing the risks of it being lost, stolen or hacked in transit.

How to withdraw consent?
